The story of Tom's Sunscreen began over 20 years ago when I wanted to put a clean product on my surfing kids' faces... It was impossible to find so I decided to create a sunscreen to protect them from the spicy Caribbean sun. So, with a passion for cooking, I grabbed my chocolate maker and started assembling the ingredients I had on hand... Cocoa, coconut oil, beeswax, vanilla bean, castor oil, shea butter, zinc oxide, etc.... Tom's Sunscreen was born! This screen is made by surfers for people who care about their environment and our oceans! My desire is for a cleaner planet and keeping our oceans free of chemicals, while protecting the coral reefs and our skin. Today Tom's Sunscreen is made in France by an Ecocert certified laboratory, as my chocolate factory was no longer big enough.
